[The Loft Bar, one of Falcarragh's oldest drinking establishments was build over 150 years ago circa 1848. Formerly known as "The Heather Bar" it quickly became a popular watering hole with the locals - notably after a busy mart day! The adjoining living quarters were added much later - in 1953. After much internal reshaping and several owners later it's doors are still open to travellers seeking what is widely regarded as one of the best pints of Guinness in the country!]
